Grubhub: General Content

Paper take-out menus are a thing of the past. Grubhub is an online, food delivery service that connect diners with restaurants in their area.

Say hello to food porn central! Frequency on social was key as Grubhub was trying to raise awareness in their target markets across the US, thus staring a food photography was a huge part of my day. I worked directly with our in-house photographer and creative team to concept and style shoots directly inspired to current food trends. Below are some of my favorite shots.

 
 

Outside of their monthly content, we were tasked with creating a series of social videos that perfectly captured the "togetherness" that happens when people gather around good food during the holiday season.

CertaPro

CertaPro Painters were looking to create awareness around their brand. Our team at Likeable worked with them to create quick social videos that showed the range of projects they can do for homeowners.

Over the course of a year we produced over 10 different versions of these "color changing" videos, each with varying levels of success and engagement. The posts are still live on their Facebook and Instagram pages and act as sources of inspiration for homeowners.

Grubhub: Delivering Joy

We got our hands of a pair of Snapchat Spectacles and approached Grubhub with an idea that fit perfectly in their holiday campaign: Delivering Joy. 

Fast forward to a -11 degree day in Chicago, the Likeable team set out to shoot a series of 10-second Snapchat videos (with the Specs!) that followed the day of delivery driver bringing deliciousness to the good folks of the windy city.

Posted

Posted is the solution for job and internship seekers who cannot easily aggregate job postings and keep track of applications in a streamline way.

Created for a Marketing on the Internet class at Ithaca College, Posted is a web business concept that works as a job search engine using an algorithm to pull job listings directly from employers’ websites.

Fairleaf

As an intern at Ancient Wisdom Productions (AWP) during the summer of 2014, I worked alongside 2 other interns on the project of a lifetime. Our job was to work with a local not-for-profit client, determine their needs (and wants, dreams, goals), and then develop whatever assets were necessary to help them reach those goals. 

Our team worked with Fairleaf, a small company promoting the moringa leaf as a tool to help promote nutrition and reforestation in Nicaragua.

All of the proceeds from their loose-leaf tea goes towards plants two trees: one moringa tree in a community, school or family garden and then one as part of the "Branch Out" program, designated specifically for reforestation in Nicaragua.

After meeting with Simon and Kara, the CEOs, the team and I were ready to develop a brand identity for the Fairleaf Brand. You can give the entire Brand Guide here. From there, we worked on the creation of many other brand assets the company could use to launch their brand. The development intern tackled the website development and at the end of our time at the AWP offices we were able to launch a fully functional website, complete with online ordering options! Mary Kay

In the Spring of 2014, I participated in the National Student Advertising Competition sponsored by the American Advertising Federation. 

The client was Mary Kay, a direct-selling cosmetics and beauty product company.

As a class, we produced the "Revolution of Real" campaign fueled by the guiding insight "I want a beauty expert, but I just don't know it." I worked on the production and creative teams, developing our campaign book, powerpoint presentation and producing video content.

Grubhub: 2016 Canvas Ad

Grubhub's Canvas Ad was one of the earliest uses of Facebook’s new ad format.

"Facebook Canvas – an immersive and expressive experience on Facebook for businesses to tell their stories and showcase their products."

Because of Grubhub’s status as the leading food delivery service in the country, its data contains unique insights. After mining through last year’s orders, we noticed some interesting growth patterns and began to craft a story.  

The team showcased the year's hottest foods through Facebook’s canvas ad, a platform that supports and encourages rich media. Users experienced a dynamic journey through custom photos, video, and GIFs.

Results:
Combined with proper targeting to the brand's priority audiences, we attracted more than 35,000 canvas opens, retained the average user for more than 60 seconds, and generated 1400+ delivery orders.
